The Opportunity

This is not a
typical pitch.

Most recruiting pages tell you what you want to hear. This one tells you what you need to know. Read it before you apply.

The Straight Version

What this is.
What this is not.

What this is
  • A full-time sales career selling life insurance products to inbound leads
  • Commission-based income with no ceiling and no floor
  • A structured path from day one through to top producer
  • Real mentorship from people who are still in the field producing
  • Inbound leads — you are not cold calling strangers or knocking doors
  • Remote — work from anywhere with a phone and a laptop
What this is not
  • Not MLM. You do not recruit. You sell.
  • Not passive income. The work is real and it is consistent.
  • Not a guaranteed salary. Your income is a direct reflection of your output.
  • Not a side hustle. Reps who treat it like one do not make it past Base.
  • Not a shortcut. The tiers exist because the climb takes time and real work.
  • Not for everyone. We are selective because the system only works with the right people in it.
How It Works

You talk to people
who already want help.

Every lead you work at Ridgewell is inbound. These are people who filled out a form, requested information, or called in asking about coverage. They are not cold. They are not surprised to hear from you. They asked to be contacted.

Your job is to have a real conversation, understand what they actually need, shop more than 40 A-rated carriers to find the right fit, and present two or three options clearly. Most calls take 20 to 45 minutes. Most people who are ready to buy will buy on the first call if the agent is prepared and honest.

That last part — being prepared and honest — is what the Ridgewell training is built around. Not scripts. Not pressure tactics. Not manufactured urgency. A straight conversation that ends with the right policy or no policy. Clients can tell the difference and so can your numbers.

What It Pays

Real numbers.
No ceiling.

Income ranges below reflect what reps at each tier are earning based on consistent, full-time work with the Ridgewell system. These are not projections or best-case scenarios. They are the realistic output of showing up every day and working the system correctly.

Tier 01
Base
Month 1

Learning phase. Focus is on running calls correctly, not volume. First commissions typically arrive in weeks two to four. The goal at Base is not income — it is building the habits that make income inevitable.

Learning
Phase
Tier 02
Ascent
Months 2–4

The system has clicked. Calls are consistent and so are closes. Income is real enough to notice. Most reps hit Ascent within their first one to three months of full-time work.

$3K–$7K
Per Month
Tier 03
Summit
Months 4–8

Kyle's tier. Five months from bartending to $14,000 in a single month. Summit reps have crossed the line from hoping this works to knowing it does, and the income has reached a level that genuinely changes how you think about your financial life. The only question left is how fast you keep climbing.

$8K–$15K
Per Month
Tier 04
Peak
Months 9–15

Where consistency compounds. Peak reps have built a steady rhythm on top of their inbound leads and turned this into a real monthly income, not a lucky month here and there. This is no longer about proving the system works — it is about volume, efficiency, and the kind of income that changes your family's trajectory.

$16K–$29K
Per Month
Tier 05
Apex
Month 12+

The top of the ridge. Apex reps are producing $30,000 or more per month consistently — the result of years working the system at a high level, with the deepest carrier relationships and the highest commission rates. This is not a starting point. It is what the whole climb is for.

$30K+
Per Month

Income ranges reflect what reps at each tier are earning based on full-time work with the Ridgewell system. Individual results vary based on effort, consistency, market conditions, and individual performance. Commission-based. No guaranteed minimum.

What You Get

The system is already built.
You just have to work it.

Most people who fail in sales do not fail because they are lazy. They fail because they were handed a script and a phone number and told good luck. Ridgewell was built to fix that.

A real training system.

Not a PDF and a prayer. You learn how to open a call, build trust quickly, identify what someone actually needs, present options clearly, and close without pressure. Then you do it with someone watching until it is second nature.

Mentorship that is actually available.

You have direct access to people who are still in the field producing at a high level. Not a manager who peaked five years ago. People who ran the same calls last week that you are running this week and can tell you exactly what to do differently.

Inbound leads.

Every person you speak to has asked to be contacted. They filled out a form or called in. You are not cold calling, not door knocking, not posting on social media hoping someone responds. You pick up the phone and someone is already on the other end.

Remote and flexible.

A phone, a laptop, and a quiet place to work. That is the setup. You are not tied to a territory or an office. Top producers at Ridgewell work from home, from coffee shops, from wherever they are most focused.

40+ A-rated carriers.

You are not pushing one product from one company. You shop across more than 40 A-rated carriers and bring back the options that actually fit the client. That independence is what makes the conversation honest and the close rate real.

Selective by design.

We turn down more people than we bring on. Not because we are trying to be exclusive — because the system only works when the right people are in it. When we say yes, we invest heavily in that person. That only works if we are careful about who we say yes to.

Why This Exists

Built by someone
who made the climb.

Aaron Jensen started door-to-door sales in 100-degree Tennessee heat. No playbook. No mentor. No inbound leads. Just a script someone handed him and a neighborhood to walk. He figured it out the hard way — which is exactly why Ridgewell is built the way it is.

After door-to-door, Aaron built a company from scratch that hit number 985 on the Inc. 5000 and cleared $20 million in revenue. Then he sold it — seven figures — because he wanted to build something that gave other people the kind of opportunity he had to create for himself.

That is Ridgewell. Not a franchise. Not a downline play dressed up as a career. A brokerage built from real sales experience with a structure designed to take someone with zero sales background and turn them into a top producer — if they are willing to do the work. We have done it. We know the timeline. We know where people get stuck and we know how to get them unstuck.

Aaron is still in it. Still on calls. Still refining the system. The people who mentor you at Ridgewell are not retired producers who peaked years ago. They are people who are building the same thing you are building — right now.

"Honestly, I turn down a lot of people — not because I enjoy it, but because when I say yes I'm putting real time and resources behind that person. I built a company to $20 million and the Inc. 5000 before selling it to do this, and I know exactly what the right support can do for someone willing to work. So if you make it through the process, that means something — it means we really think we can help you build something."

Getting Started

What happens
after you apply.

01
You apply.

A short form. Four questions. Takes three minutes. We review every application personally — this is not an automated funnel.

02
We have a 20-minute call.

Not a pitch. A conversation. We ask about where you are, what you are looking for, and what you want your life to look like in two years. You ask us anything. At the end we tell you honestly whether we think this is the right fit.

03
You get licensed.

If you are not already licensed, you will need a life insurance license in your state before you can start. We will walk you through exactly how to get it — the study material, the exam, the timeline. Most people complete it in two to four weeks. There is a state exam fee that varies by state. That is the only cost.

04
Training starts.

Day one of training is structured. You are not dropped into calls cold. You learn the system first, shadow experienced reps, and run your first calls with someone available to debrief immediately after. The ramp is designed to get you to your first commission as fast as possible without skipping steps.

05
You climb.

From Base to Apex, every tier has a clear benchmark. You always know where you are and exactly what it takes to move up. The path is not a mystery. The only variable is how hard you work it.

Ready to Apply

Twenty minutes.
That is all it takes.

A short application. A real conversation. We will tell you honestly whether this is the right fit before you commit to anything.
